How Wrdl Assist handles your information.
This Privacy Policy describes how Wrdl Assist ("the App"), developed by cmartsolutions, handles information when you use the App on your device.
1. Information We Collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. The App does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal details.
2. Network Requests
When you perform a word search, the App makes outbound HTTPS requests to publicly available third-party websites in order to retrieve lists of past word game answers. These requests are made directly from your device to those websites. No user data, search terms, or device identifiers are included in or logged from these requests by the App.
The App caches responses in device memory until midnight local time to reduce unnecessary network traffic. This cache is held only in memory and is cleared when the App is closed.
3. Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics libraries, advertising networks, or crash-reporting services. No data is shared with any third party by the App.
The third-party websites the App fetches data from have their own privacy policies, which govern how those sites handle requests made to them.
4. Device Permissions
The App requests only the following Android permissions:
- INTERNET — required to fetch publicly available word lists from configured web sources.
- ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — used to check whether a network connection is available before attempting to fetch data.
No other permissions are requested or used.
5. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
6. Changes to This Policy
If this policy is updated, the new version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
